Job Description

This role will be responsible for supporting the Sr. Manager of Talent Development in managing the coordination of Company trainings and New Hire Orientations. This person will also work closely with the Health, Security, Environmental and Quality department (HSEQ), Training Specialist and others within Human Resources.

  • Oversee the logistics of company trainings including but not limited to sending invites and tracking responses, catering, material preparation, assembling and disassembling of all training related events;
  • Oversee our language lessons: issuing/terminating licenses and managing the waitlist;
  • Manage the New Hire Orientation program including: logistics, setup-up/breakdown, maintaining inventory, scheduling, catering, loading presentations and supporting presenters, teaching some “general knowledge” items, sending follow-up documentation to new hires and other miscellaneous items;
  • Responsible for processing purchases for the Talent Development group;
  • Support the execution of company knowledge sharing events;

  • Support with uploading both new training material as well as off-line training records into our Learning Management System.
  • Processing expense reports as needed.
  • Processing expense reports as needed, Knowledge preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred;
  • 1-3 years of related experience in either administrative support or event planning;
  • Experience with managing and organizing events is preferred: catering, registrations, set-up/breakdown;
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Programs: Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint;
  • Experience with SAP is preferred;
  • Experience with video conferencing is preferred;
  • Outgoing with a high comfort level of speaking in front of others and willingness to step in as needed.
